PIZZA FUNDRAISER- Again I want to thank everyone for all their work on this club
event.
PICK UP ORDERS THURSDAY NOVEMBER 20TH All items from the Pizza Sales will need to be
picked up on THURSDAY NOVEMBER 20th during practice hours between 5:30-6:45pm.
FUNDRAISING AWARDS- Those families that sold over the minimum need to pick up awards in
the office.
MAC SENIOR MEET & AGE GROUP PENTATHLON November 14-16 at Millard
West HS.
This was a very successful meet for our swimmers. Most of the swimmers improved in
the majority of the events they swam especially our 12&Under Pentathlon swimmers. CBSC
had 86% improvement in times overall. Several DI cuts were made in this meet.
Congratulations swimmers!!!!!!! Results will be posted on the bulletin boards and on the
website.
MIDWESTERN AWARDS BANQUET- Sunday November 16th 5:00pm at the Field Club
of Omaha.
Congratulations to following CBSC swimmers that were recognized for their outstanding
2007-08 season Sunday evening at the Midwestern Association Banquet: Meagan Gill, Alex
Ketzler, Luke Hemmingsen, Caleb Shudak, Sydney Sallach, Kelsey Meyers, Josie Bircher, RJ
Hemmingsen, Jimmy Hawk and Matthew Howell. It was a great turnout by our swimmers and
families. Again Congratulations!!!! Matthew Howell was also awarded the top 13-14 male
swimmer of the year award for the 07-08’short course season.

SWIMMERS ENTERED: 20 swimmers were entered. Entries are posted on the bulletin
boards.
CBSC Silver/Open Holiday Meet December 6-7, 2008 at Titan Hill Pool
11&Over Warm up 7:00am Meet 8:00am
10&Under Warm up 12:00noon Meet 1:00pm
SWIMMERS TO BE ENTERED- ALL CBSC swimmers will be entered in this meet. This
meet is primarily a Silver Meet for those swimmers that do not have BB Times. However the
meet will also have Open events for which teams can enter swimmers into events in which
they do have BB times. Therefore all of our swimmers qualify to swim in this meet.
DEADLINE- WEDNESDAY NOVEMBER 26TH
SWIM MEET VOLUNTEERS- We still have a long ways to go to get all the help we need
to run our first swim meet on December 6-7th. Please stop by the pool office and volunteer
this week. We will need parents as Timers, Clerical help, Concession workers etc.

Center, Lincoln
Fri Dec 12 Timed Final Warmup 4:30pm Meet 5:15pm
Sat Dec 13 Prelim Warmup 8am Meet 9:30am Finals Warmup 4pm Meet 5pm
Sun Dec 14 Prelim Warmup 8am Meet 9:30am Finals Warmup 3pm Meet 4pm
NOTE: This meet is a prelim/final championship type meet. The top 20 swimmers from
each prelim event that is swum in the morning will swim again at night in the finals for awards
and team points. Swimmers that CANNOT return for the finals at night may scratch their final
events. 8&Unders will have timed final events only and will not swim again at night in a final.
SWIMMERS TO BE ENTERED: ALL CBSC swimmers will be entered.
DEADLINE: MONDAY DECEMBER 1ST.
ALL-STAR MEET- Our Midwestern Association will select an All-Star Team to swim
against 5 other USA Association on January 17-18th in Lawrence, Kansas. Swimmers that
have an A time in any event can apply to swim in the meet. Midwestern will select the top 5
swimmers in each event for the team for the following age groups 10&Under, 11-12, and 13-
14. At this time CBSC has the following swimmers that are eligible to apply to swim in the
meet: Josie Bircher, RJ Hemmingsen, Kelsey Meyers, and Sydney Sallach,
Applications are available in the pool office. Deadline is December 21st.
SWIM MEET AD’S- Our December Meet will be your first opportunity to solicited an
Advertisement for the CBSC swim meets. Reminder that all families have a commitment to
$25 worth of advertisement during the season and for all ad money over the minimum
families are credited 50% of all money generated.
